Erected on a small promontory of saffron hidden by vegetation, at the end of an alley of poplars, this ancient 12th century priory has changed with the passing of time and its inhabitants, and its solid walls with stones that are sometimes visible, like the rough beams of its ceilings, force one to be humbled, vibrating with a superior and reassuring power.

It is a stronghold, an entity in itself, La Madelène... A place of life without ostentation. A labyrinth of levels, majestic or intimate rooms, nooks and crannies, views of the surrounding greenery, punctuated by the terraces, the trellis - the summer dining room of the author Marie Cardinal, the fountain, the olive garden. Each of the rooms, unique and welcoming, has a bathroom with private toilet, soberly dressed in pastel water green Briard enamel. Their names, a nod to the region, the history of this privileged place or a simple intimate tribute.
