The campsite, in the heart of the Alps, stretches along Lake Monteynard and provides access to the Vercors, the Trièves and the Matheysine. An ideal site for windsurfing, kitesurfing, hiking, mountain biking... but also for lazing around and relaxing. In short, if you like outdoor activities, this is the place for you. There is something for everyone, young and old!

Caravans, motor homes or tents, here everyone finds a suitable place... For more comfort, we also offer a range of accommodation from equipped tents to chalets and traditional mobile homes. The panoramic range guarantees you a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains.

Welcome to Lake Monteynard. The campsite on the beach, situated on the shores of the lake, has retained the spirit of camping, with the added benefit of comfort.

An ideal place to recharge your batteries with family or friends. A quiet holiday in the middle of nature and wide open spaces where everyone will find activities to suit their taste! We are waiting for you!

Services, leisures and animations

The Camping de la Plage - Alpes, Vercors et Trièves is a family campsite, on a human scale. It nevertheless offers many services: playground, ping pong table, rental of electric mountain bikes and paddles, rental of gas barbecue, fishing permit but also grocery shop, souvenirs, postcards, loan of outdoor games, library, board games ...

For your convenience, a freezer is available. You can rent fridges or borrow hair dryers and bottle warmers ....

The campsite has a restaurant called "Le Spot" where you can enjoy a good meal, an ice cream in the afternoon and order take-away meals. Every Friday in the summer, a concert meal is offered.

A water playground for children is available every afternoon in July and August.

All water sports, outdoor activities and white water activities are also directly accessible. The campsite is located on the water sports base, close to the activities and 100m from the start of the footbridge walk.

Description of region

Nestled in the gorges of the Drac at the foot of Sénépy and Vercors, Lake Monteynard opens to the south on the plateau of Trièves. This configuration combined with its position near Grenoble make it a protected but accessible, a site of activity, but quiet and calm ... in short, a perfect place to spend a holiday or a weekend.

This easy position (within 10km highway) makes the discovery of the region facilitated either visiting the surrounding mountains: Vercors, Oisans, Chartreuse or Belledonne but Grenoble and Chambéry or mountain resorts.

Grenoble (North access): Access via the A51 motorway, exit 13 - Avignonnet.
