Located in the center of France, 45 minutes north of Lyon and close to the Beaujolais, the Camping du Val de Saône welcomes you in a natural park of 7 hectares on the banks of the Saône.

Lovers of history, oenology, animals and nature or even cycling and hiking, the surroundings of our camping will know how to entertain your days!

Our camping has its refreshment bar and a restaurant-snack with 495m2 terrace overlooking the Saône, nothing like a dinner facing the sunset. Not to mention its heated pool and its 3 pools that will make everyone happy!

Discover the Thoissey Nautical Base on the outskirts of the campsite! You can rent a canoe or a boat without a permit and sail the Chalaronne or the Saône. Enjoy a dip in the pool of Thoissey or for the more motivated, participate in a session of water skiing! Take part in the croquet game and challenge your friends!



100% free and fun activities are also waiting for you at the campsite! Go to find the Geocaches that hide there or participate in our Letter'Enquête to discover differently the bases of Thoissey. A petanque court, a volleyball court and a playground will entertain the family!



For lovers of cycling and hiking, join Macon or Lyon by the towpaths along Saône or join the small villages of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, Pérouges... For fishing lovers, you will be here in the heart of a top fishing spot and especially that with catfish.



Close to the campsite and less than 1 hour by bike, you will have the choice of a good number of outings and activities! Touroparc Zoo, the Saint-Didier la Chalaronne Water Gardens, the Villars-les-Dombes Bird Park for lovers of animals and nature!

Climb the Roche du Solutré and visit its Prehistory Museum or discover the medieval city of Pérouges and the market of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne for hikers and history lovers!

Located in the Ain region, at the gates of Dombes and Beaujolais, our Camping du Val de Saône is 10 minutes from the A6 motorway (Exit Belleville en Beaujolais) and 45 minutes north of Lyon.
