Set on a hill side, only 7 minutes’ drive from the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat, the Ferme de Villeneuve campsite is part of a vast agricultural domain which boasts a panoramic view of the Puymartin château. We offer our guests spacious camping placements allowing a certain intimacy so as to ensure an enjoyable stay with us

The schedule of activities is organized from 28th June 2011 to 30th August 2011



Throughout your stay, our team will prepare an exciting programme for you.



Starting with the inevitable pétanque tournament, speedmington, volley ball, Olympiads, thematic days.



Three times a week, your children can come to the kiddy club ( from 2 to 5 years old or from 6 to 12 years old) offering a wide range of sports and manual activities in which your children will be able to express themselves.



For the older ones, La Ferme de Villeneuve will suggest various outings : canoeing on the Dordogne or Vézère rivers, cycling on our numerous country roads. And for walking and Nordic walking lovers, many wonderful trails are waiting for you.



If you prefer a more relaxing holiday, every Sunday morning you can enjoy the services of a professional masseuse and attend aqua-relaxation classes throughout the week.

Holidays are also a time for more daring activities, so why don’t you try a first diving, an introductory course in boomerang throwing or simply mosaic, watercolour and many other manual activities.

Finally, a day at La Ferme de Villeneuve won’t be complete unless you spend the evening at the farm where thematic dinners always end to the sound of the boisterous rhythms of our DJ !



For a change, there are many terrace games like playing-card tournament, aperitif quiz or even night swimming, that will make your evenings at Villeneuve unforgettable.

Description of region

The Dordogne is a department of the south-west of France, situated in the Aquitaine region he Dordogne department is spread across the Périgord plateau. In the east it is a raised limestone plateau and dips in the west to the Saintonge and Guyenne plains. Many rivers run through the Dordogne : the Bandiat, the Dronne, the Isle, the Auvezere, the Dordogne, the Vezere and the Dropt. The Landais and the Double forests cover the west of the department. The Perigord countryside is therefore very varied.



The chief town of the department is Perigueux, and the three major subdivisions of the department are headed by Bergerac, Nontron and Sarlat-la-Caneda.

The agriculture is also very varied. The north is dominated by cattle breeding, whereas the majority of the department mixes crops (cereals and tabacco) and breeding. The Dordogne valley is mainly known for its strawberries and vineyards (Bergerac, Monbazillac). The region is famous for its walnuts, truffles and foie gras.
