Located in Castelnaud, a commune on the banks of the Dordogne that has been awarded the "most beautiful village in France" label, Lou Castel campsite is the ideal base from which to discover the rich heritage of the Périgord region, with its castles galore, picturesque villages, prehistoric caves, magnificent landscapes and gastronomic delights. Just 15 km from the medieval town of Sarlat, the Lou Castel campsite welcomes you to the heart of an oak forest in a calm and friendly setting.



Near the campsite, you can try your hand at horse-riding, fishing, canoeing, gabarre trips, hot-air ballooning, climbing, swimming in the Dordogne, acrobranche courses, and many other activities!

Road advice

From the bottom of the village of Castelnaud La Chapelle, take the route du Château for 3.5 km.

Recommended route for caravans: RD 57 to Pont de Cause, then turn right and follow signs for Veyrines-de-Domme for 5 km. Then follow the signposted route.
