Whether you choose to pitch your tent, rent a mobile home or a chalet… you will enjoy a real nature and family campsite and take a well-earned rest at “La Source” Campsite in Southern Ardèche.
The La Source campsite is situated 300m from the picturesque village of Berrias and Casteljau, a neighbouring village where quietness and gentle way of life prevail as the little stream of Berre slowly flows at the end of the campsite.
An authentic village with its beautiful stone houses, its bridge over the Granzon and its ducks, its source (which inspired the name of our campsite), its hamlets nearby, its walking trails and its Heritage sites, sometimes not well-known such as the Templar Commandery of Jalès, the fabulous Païolive Wood, its dolmens, its Berriasian stratotype… (Berrias, which gave its name to this limestone layer of the Cretaceous Period is known by geologists all over the world!)
In short, just a village but full of character which is worth a visit!
You will enjoy the 2 swimming-pools and the paddling- pool, the free-access spa (for adults), the 3-star comfort amenities, the wide range of accommodation, from standard ones to glamping options, its green spaces and playgrounds for children or older ones, the mini-farm for the delight of your little ones and family entertainments.
You will discover the wonderful sites in the neighbourhood, such as the Païolive Wood, the Chassezac Gorges, the river Ardèche and its majestic Pont d’Arc, its fabulous Gorges, the Pont d’Arc Cavern, a replica of the Chauvet Cave, caves and villages full of character such as Balazuc and Banne….

Services, leisures and animations
Il vous offre pour votre plus grand plaisir : 2 belles piscines, (une préchauffée hors saison), une pataugeoire, aire de jeux pour enfants, terrains de pétanque, volley, basket-ball, flipper, baby-foot, billard, … et d’agréables espaces verts au bord du petit ruisseau de Berre, qui raviront petits et grands ! Tables de pique nique et barbecues collectifs à votre disposition.
Sur place : location d’emplacements, de mobiles homes tout confort
Un Bar, restaurant pizzeria glacier pour vous rafraîchir et vous restaurer. Dépôt de pain et petits déjeuners.
Le camping propose deux animations familiales par semaine (en haute saison) : une soirée disco karaoké et un concours de boules. UN CLUB ENFANT POUR LES 6/11 ANS & cours de réveil aquatique

L’ Ardèche méridionale est une région attractive et diversifiée, vous invitant à de multiples découvertes et activités :
• Loisirs et Détente : baignades en rivière, promenades, visites de Villages de caractère (« plus beaux villages de France ») tels Banne, Thines, Naves, Vinezac, Vogüé, Balazuc, … , de sites naturels uniques à proximité (Bois de Païolive & Gorges du Chassezac à 3 kms, Pont d’Arc et Gorges de l’Ardèche à 20 kms …), marchés locaux typiques
• Culture : découverte du Patrimoine et des sites historiques : Commanderie des Templiers de Jalès (à Berrias), Grotte Chauvet, Aven d’Orgnac, Musée Régionale de Préhistoire, visite de châteaux (Montréal, Labastide de Virac, Vogüé, Aubenas, ..), musées, ( de la Châtaigneraie, de la Lavande, etc …) conférences, concerts ..
• Activités sportives : canoë Kayak, mais aussi escalade, spéléologie ; randonnées pédestres et équestres, VTT, canyonning, parcours aventures dans les arbres …
A partir du 25 avril : ouverture de l'Espace de restitution de la Grotte Chauvet Pont D'Arc ! Une merveille à découvrir absolument !
Road advice
L'accès
En venant du Nord :
*Sur la D104, poursuivre en direction d'Alès, et ne tourner qu'au niveau de la Cave coopérative de Berrias, à droite. Le camping est ensuite indiqué. (direction 'La Rouvière')
* ou en venant des Vans, suivre en direction d'Alès, puis Berrias, et sur la place, prendre Casteljau. Le camping se trouve à la sortie du village.
En venant du Sud :
Prendre la D104, en direction d'Aubenas, et tourner à gauche juste avant la Cave Coopérative de Berrias. Le camping est ensuite indiqué. (direction 'La Rouvière')
