Your activities on the premises

Relax on a deckchair beside the aquatic area or enjoy a spot of relaxation at the spa or hammam: the campsite has arranged everything to make sure you have a really relaxing holiday. Your stay at the Yelloh! Village Les Bois du Châtelas can also be a time during which you can enjoy a bit of fitness, with a fitness room and sauna, a multisports area and aquagym sessions, there are all sorts of possibilities for expending some energy. Plenty of activities will be available during your holiday, including games, competitions and more. You could challenge other holidaymakers to volleyball, football and table tennis tournaments. And then there are treasure hunts, orientation, dancing, inflatable slides and games areas for the little ones, and rambling, mountain biking and archery for the adults, there'll be no time to get bored!

And for other leisure activities, near the campsite you'll find all sorts of things. Just 7 km away, people can spend a great afternoon at the Acropole Aventure. Adventure tree climbing, Via ferrata, climbing, archery, an adventure course and even canyoning: in complete safety, supervised by qualified instructors, you can discover a different side to Drôme. People who enjoy hiking will be in seventh heaven, with a hiking trail that starts from the campsite. There are lots of different ways of discovering the region, whether it's on foot, by bike, by canoe or even by donkey! And when it comes to culture, you can come and visit the various villages in the surrounding area perched on high, some of which are listed as among the Plus Beaux Villages de France, such as Poët Laval and Mirmande. You'll love the Renaissance style architecture of the château and collegiate church of Grignan and from the top of the Tour du Crest, there is an amazing view! And to spice up your visit a little, you can come down again by abseiling down the walls!

Our facilities

During your camping holiday, you can forget about your car, as you've got everything you need right here. You can buy freshly made bread and pastries at the campsite grocery, perfect for a complete breakfast! With a shop, a tourist information point, a laundry and newspaper stall, there's everything you could need. You can also hire one of the bikes at the campsite to go and discover some of the treasures in the region. You can put together a picnic with the variety of produce available from the grocer's shop, or come and relax at the bar during the warm afternoons! And if, in the evening, after a long day, you don't feel like cooking, you'll find a warm welcome at the restaurant and snack bar.

Your campsite in the Drôme

Come and enjoy a camping holiday close to Montélimar, in a region in which you'll be dazzled by the majestic landscapes and wild countryside!



The Vercors takes its name from the mountain range in front of the Alps. Reaching an altitude of 2,300 metres, this location is a genuine treasure trove for those who enjoy hiking and other mountain activities. All sorts of routes leave from the campsite, so come and enjoy them on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike!



Where there are mountains, there are also watercourses and rivers. With a length of 110 km, the Drôme river is the region's main attraction. Come and explore it by canoe or kayak, or see it from above with some paragliding!



The region enjoys a rich historical and cultural heritage, as demonstrated by the Château de Madame de Sévigné, which looks out over the town of Grignan. This building has survived through the centuries and will be an opportunity to re-live France's past in a sumptuous setting.



If you come with your family to the Bois du Châtelas campsite, don't forget to take your children to the crocodile farm at Pierrelatte. They'll love watching the various reptiles here, which are enclosed in an 8,000 m² glasshouse!



And finally, you really can't come for a camping holiday close to Montélimar without trying some of its famous honey and almond flavoured sweets! Montélimar is home to nougat, and you'll really enjoy this town's lovely Provence-scented alleyways!

Road advice

Coming from the north : Take exit 15 (sortie 15) -valence-sud for the E713 in the direction of Portes-lès-valence/Gap/Crest. Take the D111 in the direction of Crest. Follow the D111/Route de Beauvallon and then the D538 until Bourdeaux. Continue on the D538 towards Dieuleft.

Coming from the South : take exit 18 (sortie 18) -montélimar-sud. Arrived at Montélimar, at the roundabout, take the D540/Route de Dieuleft and then the D538 until Bourdeaux.
